Security seizes 5 tons of prohibited pesticides

SANAA, March 25 (YPA) – The security forces seized on Thursday 5.5 tons of prohibited and smuggled pesticides Jabal Ras port in Hodeida province, a security official said.

The official pointed out that the quantity seized was hidden with boxes of fireworks and was subject to ignition at any moment, which would cause a serious environmental disaster.

The quantity with arrested men were referred to the custody to complete the legal procedures.
