Bomb attack targets Islah security official in Taiz

TAIZ, March 25 (YPA) – An attack with an improvised explosive device (IED) targeted on Thursday a security official affiliated with the Islah Party loyal to Saudi-led coalition in the city of Taiz, southwest Yemen.

Local sources reported that an IED explosion targeted a car of the director of the police station of Osaifera area, Moath Marish, in front of a commercial shop in Sinan intersection in Taiz city.

Marish sustained light wounds, while one of his escorts was killed and several others were wounded as a result of the explosion, the sources added.
