MHARAH, march 25 (YPA) – A security commander loyal to Saudi-led coalition was killed in Mahrah province, eastern Yemen, security sources said.
Capt. Talib Abbas al-Omari, commander of Al-Damkh checkpoint in Al Masilah district was killed during clashes with gunmen late Wednesday evening, the sources explained
According to security sources, the commander was ambushed while he was returning from Al Ghaydah city by tribal gunmen and was killed during the clashes.
According to the sources, the incident followed the return of the security commander after he had handed over a tribal wanted man to prison, which led the tribes to monitor him and set ambush against him lead to his death.
