2nd laboratory medicine conference concluded in Sanaa

SANAA, March 24 (YPA) – The second conference for laboratory medicine was concluded on Tuesday in the capital Sanaa.

The participants in the conference recommended creating an infrastructure for scientific research and providing financial allocations and funds within the annual budgets to cover the needs of scientific research.

They stressed the importance of qualifying cadres in the field of implementing the comprehensive quality system and obligating private and government laboratories to start implementing the system within a time-bound strategic plan.

The participants also called for updating the curricula in the faculties of laboratory medicine in universities in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in line with the requirements of the labor market.
