Palestinian killed, dozens injured in clashes with Israeli occupation forces in West Bank

SANAA, March 19 (YPA) – A Palestinian was killed and dozens injured on Friday in clashes with  Israeli occupation army in the West Bank, Palestinian sources said.

The sources said that a Palestinian in his mid-40s was killed by a gunshot wound in the head during clashes with the Israeli army in the village of Beit Dagen, east of Nablus.

Dozens of others were injured by rubber bullets and suffocation during similar clashes with the Israeli army in various parts of the West Bank, the sources added.

Palestinians have been holding popular demonstrations every week on Friday to denounce settlement expansion and confiscation of Palestinian land in the affected villages.
