Body of murdered young man found in Taiz

TAIZ, March 17 (YPA) – Citizens found the body of a young man with signs of torture in southern Taiz province, local sources said

According to the local sources , citizens found the body of a displaced young man from Hodeidah who was floating at the Abeera dam in Bani Sheba area of  “ Ash Shamayatayn District”.

Residents in the area identified the young man as “Ghamdan Abdo Naji,” the sources said.

He was suffering from a psychological condition.

The sources confirmed that there were visible signs of torture on the young man’s body, likely died due to torture and his body was being dumped in the dam.

The sources denounced the failure of the security authorities to open an investigation to uncover the circumstances of the incident or to present the body to a forensic doctor to find out the cause of death.
