SANAA, March 17 (YPA) – Three shootings in the US state of Georgia left eight people dead, including four women, US media reported on early Wednesday morning.
According to NBC News, the first incident occurred in Cherokee County, when an unknown assailant entered the massage parlor and opened fire.
The shooter, who was arrested by police on Tuesday, killed four people in a massage parlor shooting and two others were injured, police said.
About 45 minutes after the shooting in Cherokee County, 30 miles away; police in Atlanta responded to a report of a robbery on Piedmont Road in the northeast part of the city.
The second incident resulted in the death of three women with gunshot wounds while at the scene of the shooting.
The third incident occurred during the police presence at the scene of the second incident and they received a report of a shooting incident on the other side of the street. When they arrived there they found a woman dead.
“We are currently gathering information from crime scenes to determine exactly what happened and to try to obtain confirmed information regarding the suspect or other suspects,” Atlanta Police Chief Rodney Bryant said.
“They are trying to determine whether the shootings were related,” the investigators said.
Authorities said they were looking for suspects caught on surveillance cameras at the locations of the shooting incidents.
