Violent battles continue to escalate towards Marib city

SANAA, March 15 (YPA) – Violent battles have been continued to escalate in the outskirts of the northern city of Marib between the Yemeni army forces and the Saudi-led coalition forces.

According to private sources in the city on Monday, that Yemeni army forces taken control of the most important mountains overlooking the coalition forces’ camp in Sahn al-Jin area.

The sources confirmed that the control of the army forces over strategic sites in two mountains of Al-Khashab and Al-Atif, came after fierce battles against the coalition forces and Al-Qaeda militants.

The sources pointed out that taking control over the over those the sites, which would enable the army to impose fire control on Sahn al-Jin camp.
