Airstrikes target southern Libyan city of Ubari

SANAA, March 14 (YPA) – An unidentified drone bombed targets at dawn on Sunday in the southern Libyan city of Ubari, the Arabi21 news website reported, citing local sources said.

The sources pointed out that the city was hit by four airstrikes, amid conflicting reports about the nature of the targets and the identity of the drones.

While sources said that the shelling targeted the center of the city, other sources reported that the shelling hit a house in al-Sharb neighborhood.

It is believed that shelling was carried out by the USAFRICOM, but so far no comment yet has been made  from the official authorities.

Libyan activists published photographs of the bombing, and Arabi21 was unable to verify their authenticity from an independent source.
