STC militias surround one of their leaders in Aden

ADEN, March 13 (YPA) – The UAE-backed southern transitional council (STC)’s militias surrounded on Saturday one of their leaders in Aden province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources declared that 12 military vehicles carrying armed men from Dhalea province surrounded the leader Faris al-Suhaibi who belongs to Yafaa area in al-Tawahi area.

Al-Suhaibi confirmed in video published on social media that the siege operation was due to his criticizing for the insecurity in Aden.

He also declared that the southern transitional militiamen kidnap and arrest anyone who criticizes the economic situation and insecurity, and takes them to prisons and detention centers.
