SANAA, March 11 (YPA) – Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation KAN reported that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu may meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during an expected visit to the UAE on Thursday.
This is Netanyahu’s first visit to the UAE, where Israeli media reported that the visit was postponed last month, following travel restrictions imposed by Israel and countries due to the Coronavirus.
Israel’s Walla also reported that Benjamin Netanyahu wants to make an official visit to the UAE and Bahrain ahead of the March 23 Knesset elections.
Netanyahu’s visit to the UAE and Bahrain before the elections is expected to be the most important central event of his campaign, noting that UAE officials have expressed concerns in recent weeks that such a visit would be considered interference in the Israeli elections, according to the website.
