NCM warns against widespread dust wave
SANAA, March 07 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) announced on Sunday that parts of the desert and mountainous areas would be affected by the widespread dust wave, within the coming 24 hours.
In its weather forecast, the center affirmed that the effects of the dust wave would prevail over the provinces of Mahra, Hadramout, Marib, Jawf, and Shabwa.
“The parts of the mountainous heights of the provinces of Saada, Hajjah, al-Mahwait, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda may be affected by the wave, with a significant decrease in temperature,” it added.
The center warned citizens in areas that are expected to be dusted, to take the necessary precautions, especially patients, the elderly and children, calling on motorists to drive carefully on desert roads due to a decrease in the horizontal visibility.
