HADHRAMAUT, March 07 (YPA) – The city of Mukalla, the center of Hadhramaut province in southeastern Yemen, has been in chaos following angry popular protests that led to the closure of main streets and stop traffic in the city.
According to the sources, residents in the city held protests expressing their anger at the rise of the oil price and the deterioration of services.
They cut off the roads using burning tires and rocks in a protest to the poor services.
The protests came at a time when voices have increased demanding a massive popular revolt against Hadi government and the political forces involved in it after the great collapse of the currency and the rise in prices.
