There is exaggeration in number of IDPs in Marib: Deputy FM

SANAA, March 04 (YPA) – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the National Salvation Government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, said on Thursday there is an exaggeration in inflating the number of internally displaced people (IDPS) in Marib province.

Al-Ezzi added, in a tweet to Twitter, that the last documented statistics on the number of displaced people in Marib refer to only 42,000 displaced people, and reliable sources confirm that many of them have started returning to Sanaa.

He continued, saying “The tears shed by some in this context are a welcome case, had it not been for the tears of crocodiles that come in the wrong place and are absent in the right place.”

On the escalating military escalation in Marib and Taiz provinces, Al-Ezzi wrote: “The mercenaries’ ignorance and their naive assumptions are pushing them to escalate and threaten here and there. Until this moment they do not know how we think, and this is one of our most important strengths.”
