ADEN, March 02 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias have raised the levies imposed on small tankers loaded with fuel in Aden city, southern Yemen, informed sources reported on Tuesday.
The so-called “security belt force” of the STC has raised the taxes imposed on small fuel trucks coming from Shabwa province or leaving the port of refineries in Aden by 30 percent, which exceeded 750,000 riyals, the sources said.
Since the beginning of this week, the city of Aden has been witnessing a crisis in gasoline at all the fuel stations belonging to the Yemeni Petroleum Company branch, including the city’s power stations that went out of service.
