Pro-coalition commander assaults judge in Taiz

TAIZ, March 02 (YPA) – A son of a military commander loyal to the Saudi-led coalition assaulted on Tuesday a judge in Taiz province, source said.

According to sources said that the so-called Shakeeb, the son of the leader of the so-called Taiz Axis affiliated with the Islah party, Khaled Fadhel, with his armed group attacked the judicial complex in “Hasab area and beat West Taiz Court’s judge, Bakil al-Qabati.

The sources confirmed that the court sentenced six months to Shakeeb in a jail, and to refer the remaining defendants to the Public Prosecution for investigation.

Several judges, in the Saudi-led coalition-held areas of Taiz and its armed factions, have been subjugated to attacks and threats continually.
