Saudi Arabia disclaims legal responsibility for its crimes in Yemen: Tawoos

SANAA, March 02 (YPA) – Secretary-General of the Supreme National Council for Humanitarian Affairs, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, said on Tuesday that Saudi Arabia disclaimed legal and moral responsibility for its crimes in Yemen, by trying to bleach its picture with humanitarian conferences.

Tawoos stressed that the donors ’conference aimed to absolve Saudi Arabia and the coalition countries of their crimes committed in Yemen.

He said that the amounts that mentioned by the international donors conference do not meet 10 percent of the necessary need in Yemen, describing them as disappointing the hopes of the organizations and the United Nations.

Tawoos stressed that Yemen’s confidence in the UN organizations has been lost since the UN silence on the war waged by the Saudi-led coalition in 2015.
