Report: 13 killed, 27 injured in 48 Saudi-led airstrikes over 24 hours
SANAA, May 27 (YPA) – At least 13 civilians, including children and women, were killed and 27 others were injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched 48 air strikes and ground attacks on several areas of Yemen’s provinces over the past 24 hours, Ansar Allah Media Center said in a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.
· In Saada province:
Three children and man were killed and 15 civilians injured in an airstrike which targeted a main road of Hamazat near Saada city.
Two airstrikes were waged on Sha’aban area of Razih district.
Four airstrikes on Aal-Ali and Azhur areas of Razih.
Four airstrikes hit residents’ homes and a mosque in Hamazat area of Sehar district.
Eight airstrikes were waged on Takhia area of Majz district.
Four airstrikes on Atfin and Boqea areas of Ketaf district.
Meanwhile, a child and two men were killed when Saudi-led coalition targeted several areas of Ghamer by artillery and missile shells.
Missile and artillery shelling targeted several areas of Razih border district.
· In the Capital Sanaa:
Four civilians were killed, including a woman, and 11 injured, including children, in the two airstrikes which hit the Oil company building in southern Steen street.
· In Hodeidah province:
A civilian was killed in an airstrike hit Swiq village of Tuhaita district.
Number of boats were destroyed by four airstrikes on Fishermen’ center in Arj area of Bajil district.
Eight airstrikes targeted communication network in Salif city.
An airstrike was waged on Kilo-16 area.
An airstrike on Luhaia district.
· In Amran province:
Two women were killed and another injured in an airstrike on Ablah area of Harf-Sufian district.
Two airstrikes hit Aswd mount of Harf-Sufian.
· In Hajjah Province:
The Coalition warplanes launched five airstrikes on Mazroq and Fag-Harad districts.
