Corona injuries exceed 114.4 million cases worldwide

SANAA, Mar. 1 (YPA) – The latest global statistics announced about the “Corona” pandemic revealed that the total number of infected people exceeded 114 million and 408 thousand injuries, of whom 89 million and about 965 thousand patients recovered, while the number of deaths due to infection with the virus exceeded two million and 538 thousand deaths.
According to the statistics announced on Sunday the countries of the world recorded a remarkable decline in the number of new infections discovered, as well as in the number of deaths, compared to the statistics of the previous day, as the countries recorded 387 thousand and 764 new injuries, and during the last 24 hours there were 8,103 deaths.
The Corona pandemic continues to spread in 219 countries, territories and regions around the world, and America is still at the forefront of the world, compared to the highest death toll and total number of injuries.
The statistics considered that the five countries most affected by the pandemic in the world in terms of the total number of deaths are: America (524,669 deaths), Brazil (254,263 deaths), Mexico (185,257 deaths), India (157,087 deaths), and Britain (122,705 deaths).

The  statistics also considered that the five countries most affected in the world in terms of the total number of injuries: America (29,202,824 injuries), India (11,096,731 injuries), Brazil (10,517,232 injuries), Russia (4,246,079 injuries), and Britain (4,170,519 injuries).
