Islah militants wage campaign of arrests in Marib city
MARIB, Feb. 28 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition-controlled Marib city witnessed on Sunday a widespread arrest campaign was carried out by the “Special Forces” of the Islah militia against citizens.
According to residents inside the city, the massive campaign targeted street vendors, shopkeepers, and shoppers from several Yemeni governorates, which are under the control of the Salvation Government in Sanaa.
The sources pointed out that the arrests were directed by the new commander, Salim Al-Sayaghi, against the background of the assassination of Abu Mohammad Shaalan, who appointed as the commander of the Special Forces of the Islah Party, in mysterious circumstances in the last week.
