Ibb rallies denounce US-Saudi blockade on Yemen

IBB, Feb. 26 (YPA) – A mass protest rallies were held on Friday by sons and sheikhs of Ibb province to denounce the detention of the oil ships on the Yemenis for six years.

The participants, at the rallies, that the detention of the oil ships is a flagrant violation of the international and humanitarian laws and charters in light of shameful international silence.

The protesters held US, Britain and the rest of the Saudi-led coalition’s countries full responsible for all the damages, effects and humanitarian repercussions as a result of the continuation of the blockade.

They called for the UN to release immediately the ships of oil derivatives, food and medicine detained at sea by the coalition.

The rallies pointed out that peace in Yemen will not be through statements, but by stopping the war, lifting the siege and stopping foreign interference in the internal affairs of the Yemeni people.
