STC militias kidnap tribal sheikh, military officer in Radfan

LAHJ, Feb. 26 (YPA) – The UAE-backed  Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia kidnapped military leaders and tribal sheikhs in Radfan, Lahj province, southern Yemen.

Local sources in the province confirmed that the militia of the so-called “Fifth Brigade”, kidnapped on Thursday, sheikh of Al-Qatibi tribeand Brigadier Mohammed Jeyjey, and put them in the prisons of the militia, without any legal form.

The sources explained that the abduction of Sheikh Al-Qatibi and Brigadier is a flagrant violation of the members of the Radfan tribes, indicated that the consequences would be serious.

The sources pointed to the abduction crime against Al-Qatibi and Brigadier Jeyjey is an extension of the kidnapping crimes against the activists of Radfan’s sons in the past days.
