WHO: Corona epidemic may end by next year

SANAA, Feb. 24 (YPA) – The Director of the World Health Organization’s Regional Office in Europe, Hans Kluge, suggested that the Corona epidemic will end early next year.

The Danish channel “DR” quoted the WHO official as saying: “The worst scenario has ended. We know more about the virus compared to 2020, when it began to spread.”

Kluge stressed that the virus will not disappear, but that by next year there will be no need for restrictions.

At the same time, Kluge pointed out that this is only an expectation, because until now no one can confirm with precision how the epidemiological situation could develop.
