SANAA, Feb. 23 (YPA) – An Israeli court revealed on Monday the date of the trial of the Prime Minister of the occupation entity, Binyamin Netanyahu, on corruption charges.
According to an Israeli court’s decision, Netanyahu’s trial will not resume until voters’ opinions are known about him during next month’s elections.
Netanyahu faced accusations in 2019 of receiving gifts from wealthy friends, and of seeking to obtain preferential regulatory decisions for media investors in exchange for premium coverage.
The accusations were a central issue during three elections that did not produce an outright winner.
The occupation entity will hold its fourth parliamentary elections in two years on March 23, according to Reuters.
