Islah militants transfer 40 billion Yemeni riyals from Marib Bank to unknown destination

MARIB, Feb. 19 (YPA) – Islah militants on Friday have transferred nearly 40 billion Yemeni riyals from Marib Bank, to an unknown destination, according to an informed source

A source in the city’s “facilities guard” confirmed that the governor of Marib, Sultan al-Arda, directed the transfer of funds from the bank during the past two days, under the pretext of placing them in safe places.

The source noted that those who transported the money refused to guard and protect trucks by the coalition’s militants.
