STC besieges Islah militants in Lahj

LAHJ, Feb. 18 (YPA) – The UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia besieged on Thursday on Islah Party’s militants in Lahj province, southern of Yemen.

According to sources, the STC militias have imposed a military blockade on the Party militants in Tor al-Baha district, creating several military points in the areas separating the districts of Lahj and the southern districts of Taiz province.

This came after the Islah-affiliated 4th Brigade surrounded Tor al-Baha district, during the past few days, with more than 200 military vehicles.
