Pro-coalition journalist confirms progress of army, popular committees in Marib

MARIB, Feb. 14 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees on Sunday continued to make progress in the ongoing battles with the Saudi-led coalition forces in Marib province.

The journalist, affiliated with the coalition, Salem Al-Masabi, confirmed that the army and the popular committees had cut ‘Al-Arqoub’ road, and took control of a site near ‘Al-Zour’ village, northeast of Marib.

The army and the popular committees managed during the past few days to encircle the city of Marib from all sides.
