Army continues to advance towards Marib city

MARIB, Feb. 13 (YPA) – The Yemeni army has continued to make a military progress into the city of Marib, taking over several strategic sites of the Saudi-led coalition forces.

According to sources, the army kept clamping the coalition forces down inside the city by achieving new field achievements and advancing towards the last land crossing for the city.

The army were able to clear the entire areas of Al-Duhaidha, Qarn Al-Sayari and Umm Lafifa.

The sources affirmed that the army took advantage of the directives of Saghir bin Aziz, Chief of Staff of the Saudi-backed Hadi government forces to withdraw military reinforcements from Al-Alam sites towards Al-Kasar front, to launch a violent attack towards those positions.
