SANAA, Feb. 12 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces and the popular committees would be able to encircle Marib city militarily from all its entrances during the next 48 hours, military sources said on Thursday night.
The military sources explained that the Saudi-led coalition forces pushed, during the past hours, their last reinforcements to the south, north and west of the city of Marib in an attempt to stop the advance of the army and committees towards the city.
These reinforcements were weak and useless in the face of the advance of Sanaa forces from five axes, the sources added.
A military source in the city of Marib confirmed that the strategic ‘Al-Kasara’ site has come under the control of the army and the popular committees, affirming that the coalition forces could not retake the site, especially after the army and committees pushed large forces that advanced beyond the site towards Marib.
