Coalition holds new ship carrying over 5,000 tons of gas: YPC

SANAA, Feb. 12 (YPA) – The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) on Friday said that the Saudi-led coalition had pirated a new ship carrying 5,001 tons of domestic gas.

“The number of ships detained by the aggression coalition increased to 13 ships of oil derivatives,” said Essam Al-Mutawakel, spokesman for the company.

Al-Mutawakel pointed out that the silence of the international community and the United Nations is one of the most prominent factors that encouraged the US-backed coalition to continue holding the fuel ships and preventing their access to Hodeida port despite obtaining entry permits from the United Nations International Verification and Inspection Committee.

The spokesman held the aggression coalition forces, led by America, and the United Nations, which are participating in this siege, fully responsible for the suffering of the Yemeni people.

He affirmed that the news being circulated through the media of the coalition mercenaries about the arrival of fuel ships to the port of Hodeida is not true.
