15 military brigades loyal to coalition lost contact in Marib

MARIB, Feb. 9 (YPA) – More than 15 military brigades belonging to Hadi’s forces have lost contact in the past two days in Marib province, Yemeni News Portal reported, citing military sources in Marib on Tuesday.

This comes as fighting between the coalition forces and the Yemeni army intensifies near the government compound in Marib city amid remarkable progress for the latter.

The sources said that these brigades were deployed as support to prevent the Yemeni army from advancing through areas from Jabal Murad in Marib to Al-Khanjar camp in Jawf province.

The sources expected that these forces had fallen into the hands of the army forces.

In the past few hours, they spoke about the success of Sanaa’s forces in striking the aforementioned brigades, noting that most of the forces were killed, wounded or captured.
