Parliament sends messages on stopping arms sales to Saudi Arabia, UAE

SANAA, Feb. 08 (YPA) – The Speaker of Yemeni Parliament, Yahya Ali Al-Rai, sent on Monday messages to several foreign countries’ parliaments about stopping arms sales to Saudi Arabia and UAE.

The messages included praising their positions and demands to stop selling weapons to the Saudi and Emirati states that cause the killing of the Yemeni people, as well as their continuous demands to stop the war on Yemen and to organize protest rallies to support the cause of the Yemeni people.

The messages were sent the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, the Italian Lower House Speaker Roberto Fico, the British House of Commons member Martyn Day, and the former British Labor Party leader, Jeremy Corbyn.
