Mass protest rally held in Abyan against STC

ABYAN, Feb. 08 (YPA) – A mass protest rally was held on Monday by dozens of sons of Abyan province to denounce the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s calls to normalize its ties with the Zionist enemy.

At the rally, organized in al-Wadhai district, the protesters also condemned the Israeli presence on the island of Socotra.

The demonstrators raised slogans rejecting the head of STC remarks for normalization with Israel, stressing that the Palestinian cause is the main cause of all Arab and Islamic nations.

They affirmed that the Yemeni people stands alongside the Palestinian people to defend its territory and the holy places unite the victory is achieved against the Zionist entity.

The rallies came as an extension of the uprisings in Aden, Lahj, Dhalea, Hadramout and Socotra denouncing normalization with the Zionist entity.
