STC closes courts, prosecution offices by force of arms in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 07 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia closed on Sunday the prosecution offices and courts in the port city of Aden by force of arms.

Local sources in the city confirmed that the STC militia prevented judges and citizens from entering the judicial facilities, based on the call of the so-called “Southern Judicial Club” of the STC, last Wednesday, to dismiss the “Judicial Council”, and to equate its bodies between the northern and southern governorates.

The sources pointed out that the STC militias’ move came in conjunction with a continued campaign of its leaders to seize and plunder lands in the city.

The STC military vehicles surrounded all judicial facilities, with the aim of creating more chaos in Aden, the sources added.
