Cold weather expected to continue with slight rise in temperatures

SANAA, Feb. 05 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expects on Friday the continuation of cold weather, with a slight increase in minimum temperatures during the coming hours.

The center affirmed in its air bulletin that that the weather cold would be prevailed over the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Dhalea and Ibb during night and early morning.

While the weather might be relatively cold the provinces of Mahwiat, Hajjah, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Marib, Jawf and Hadramout.

It pointed out that the winds would be moderate to active in the south of the western coast and Bab al-Mandab, with a speed reaching 25 knots.

The center alerted citizens and farmers in the cold mountainous provinces to take the necessary precautions to prevent low temperatures and the effects of the cold weather.
