US President Joe Biden: “The war on Yemen must stop”

WASHINGTON, Feb. 05 (YPA) – The US President Joe Biden said on Thursday night that “the war on Yemen must stop”, announcing that all US support for the offensive operations participating in the aggression on Yemen has stopped.

“We are working to end the war on Yemen, and I have asked my team for the Middle East to work for a ceasefire,” Biden added.

For his part, the democratic Senator Bernie Sanders said that “Yemen needs food and medicine, not bombs and the siege.”

Sanders indicated that the announcement of ending US military support for the Saudi war on Yemen is a tribute to the work of many activists, affirming that this step would help in resolving this conflict, providing aid, and rebuilding Yemen.
