Biden intends to end US support for military operations in Yemen

WASHINGTON, Feb. 04 (YPA) – The US National Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan, said on Thursday that the US President Joe Biden would announce the end of the US support for military operations in Yemen.

“The cessation of support for operations in Yemen will not include Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula,” Sullivan said during a press briefing.

The US President announced, earlier in the day, the appointment of a new envoy for Yemen.
