Indian police arrest Yemeni students

NEW DELHI, Feb. 04 (YPA) – Indian police have arrested Yemeni students from the Yemeni embassy in New Delhi at the request of the embassy of the “Hadi government”, student sources reported on Thursday.

“The Indian police arrested three Yemeni students after they came to the Yemeni embassy’s building to demand payment of their financial dues,” the sources said.

The students were surprised that the embassy called the police for them, the sources added.

The Yemeni students in India had carried out a series of protests to demand the payment of their suspended financial dues for months.
