SANAA, Feb. 2 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister, Hussein Al-Ezzi, discussed with Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) ways to enhance the joint cooperation.
During the meeting, Al-Ezzi affirmed the concerned authorities’ readiness to provide all necessary facilities and cooperation for the work of the OHCHR and its staff operating in Yemen.
This came during his meeting with the Resident Representative of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Hamed Qawasmeh.
Al-Ezzi reviewed the crimes have been committed by the coalition and its mercenaries since March 26, 2015, the latest of which was the crime of kidnapping of seven women in Marib city.
Meanwhile, Qawasmeh expressed his hope that the High Commissioner would play its role in condemning the violations and crimes committed against the Yemeni people, strengthening cooperation with the Sanaa government in the field of human rights.
