SANAA, Feb. 2 (YPA) – An earthquake struck early on Tuesday, in the northeastern city of Kayseri, central Turkey.
According to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center, a 4.6-magnitude earthquake occurred at exactly 3:02 pm (local time).
The center indicated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, while there were no reports of material or human losses.
The center confirmed that the earthquakes struck at latitude (39.10 north) and longitude (36.08) east.
A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 was in the western province of Izmir, Turkey, early Monday. A few hours later, another earthquake of equal magnitude was reported.
