Coalition forces arrest 7 women, several children in Marib

MARIB, Jan. 31 (YPA) – A number of military vehicles belonging to the so-called “Special Forces” led by Abu Mohammed Sha’alan on Sunday stormed several houses in Marib city, arresting seven women and a number of children, local sources reported.

The arrest of the women and children came under the pretext of their belonging to a secret cell that provides coordinates to Sanaa’s forces, according to the sources.

During the raiding, the coalition forces assaulted the abducted children and women with rifles butts, the sources added.

This comes two months after a scandal committed by Sha’alan by arresting a displaced woman from Jawf province and taking her in the middle of the night for interrogation in his private apartment inside the special forces’ camp.
