STC militias abduct two citizens in Lahj

LAHJ, Jan. 31 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Lahj province, southern Yemen, arrested two citizens from Ibb province, on regional grounds and without any legal justification.

This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on sources.

Sources close to the abductee’s family said that the STC militias kidnapped Yahya Mohammed Saleh Qassem and Abd al-Mughni Abdo Hussein, after they stopped them at The Abu Salem checkpoint in Lahj province, while they were traveling  to Aden to receive an expatriate returning from abroad.

The sources indicated that the abductees belonged to the village of “Dar Sudan” in the directorate of “Radhama” northeast of Ibb province.
