Trump’s lawyers pulls out ahead of his congressional trial

SANAA, Jan. 31 (YPA) – Two lawyers from Donald Trump’s defense team who were preparing to defend him in his Senate impeachment case have pulled out.
The American “CNN” channel, citing a source, said that Butch Powers and Deborah Barberry had left the Trump team.
Later, the channel reported, citing sources, that three other lawyers who recently joined Trump’s team have left the team, and they are Joshua Howard, Johnny Jacir and Greg Harris.
According to the sources, Trump wanted his defense team to focus in his arguments on electoral fraud.
The decision confuses Trump’s defense team, which is preparing for the trial that begins on February 8th to consider the impeachment article passed by the House of Representatives.
