Iran sends important messages to Saudi Arabia about Yemen

SANAA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – Hossein Amir Abdullahian, Special Assistant to the Iranian Parliament’s Speaker and Director General of International Affairs of the Parliament said that Saudi Arabia should pursue a political solution in Yemen if it wants to maintain its security, and abandon military solutions there.

” How can Saudi Arabia carry an olive branch and talk about regional peace and security, and while it supports terrorist groups with money and weapons, Abdullahian said in remarks carried by Russia Today.

“Saudi Arabia should normalize its relations with neighboring countries regardless of who lives in the White House, as well as abandon its unconstructive policies in the region if it wants to act rationally and logically, he added

“Iran is the most important neighbor for Saudi Arabia and  can count on us in bad conditions,” he said, stressing the importance of “Saudi Arabia to stop antagonizing Iran.

” Our country will stand by it in the worst of circumstances, as we stood by Kuwait at the time of the invasion, and beside Qatar during the blockade, he explained.

He concluded by saying ” Iran keeps the road for Saudi Arabia open to normalizing relations and the choice is up to the Saudi side.
