Kosovo announces normalization with Israel

PRISTINA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – Foreign Ministry of the unrecognized Republic of Kosovo announced on Saturday the establishment of diplomatic relations with Israel as of next February 1.

“A document for the normalization of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Israel will be signed on February 1, during an official virtual ceremony,” the ministry said.

The document is expected to be signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Gabriel Ashkenazi.
