MARIB, Jan. 30 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces’ camps in Marib city on Saturday witnessed a major insurgency among their recruits, local sources reported.
The coalition recruits in ‘Al-Alam’ camp, northeast of Marib city, refused directives of the coalition forces command to send military reinforcements to support their collapsing forces between Marib the city and Sarwah district, the sources said.
The sources added that the recruits threatened with carrying out chaos inside the coalition camps in the city, if their salaries, which have been suspended for nine months, were not paid.
It is worth noting that the coalition countries have been procrastinating for years in paying the salaries of their mercenary recruits on many fronts, which led to the occurrence of many cases of violence inside the camps that resulted in dozens of dead and wounded.
