HODEIDA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel, on Saturday confirmed the ministry’s keenness to enhance medical services in the countryside.
This came during his announcement of the results of evaluation and classification of public, central and rural hospitals and bodies at the level of the country.
“Today we present a message of steadfastness from the province of Hodeida, and we will work to provide and strengthen services in light of the withdrawal of organizations, the suspension of salaries and the continuation of the blockade,” he said.
The Health Minister indicated that the ministry is keen to work on establishing a rural hospital in each district and qualify the medical personnel in it, and organize a medical education map to cover the need.
During the evaluating meeting, Dr. Al-Mutawakel explained that the evaluation included 137 medical facilities, including public, central and rural medical bodies and hospitals.
