ADEN, Jan. 29 (YPA) – The public electricity service stopped during the past hours in all neighborhoods in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen.
Official sources in the city’s electricity administration attributed the power outages to the depletion of diesel fuel in all power plants, the most recent of which were ‘Al-Saadi’ and ‘Al-Alayan’ stations.
Al-Haswa and Al-Mansoura generators are still working in a limited way in some areas, the sources added.
The coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which controls the city of Aden, has continued to tighten the screws on the people and residents of the city through poor services since the second half of 2015.
