UAE prevents Socotra port’s director from carrying out his duties

SOCOTRA, Jan. 28 (YPA) – The UAE forces on Thursday prevented director of Socotra island port from carrying out his duties in the port.

Local sources on the island reported that the UAE had issued directives preventing Riyadh Suleiman, director of the port, from doing his duties and entering the port.

This came after the UAE forces stopped on Tuesday the rehabilitation project of the Socotra Port Administration building, funded by the so-called “the Saudi reconstruction program” since before 2020.
