Commander subjected to assassination attempt at Dhalea

DHALEA, Jan.27 (YPA) – A senior military commander was subjected on Wednesday to an assassination attempt at Dhalea province, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that an explosive device targeted the convoy of the commander of the 83 artillery brigade, Nasr Al-Borsh, loyal the Saudi-led coalition in al-Jabara market at Morais front.

Al-Borsh was seriously injured and three of his companions were killed in the operation.

The sources pointed out that the coalition forces kept disclosing any details the fate of the military commander, Nasr Al-Borsh.

The operation came within the ongoing conflict between military leaders of the coalition forces to assume the command of the brigade, two years after the dismissal of the former commander, Abdullah Muzahim.
